Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled a series of fare reductions aimed at facilitating travel to Saudi Arabia and Canada.

These discounts are part of PIA's broader initiative to make international travel more accessible and affordable for Pakistani passengers.

Reduced Fares to Saudi Arabia

In a significant move to support religious travelers, PIA has announced a 30% reduction in fares for flights from Karachi to the Saudi cities of Jeddah and Madinah.

The discounted one-way fare is now set at Rs56,000, while a return ticket costs Rs88,000, inclusive of taxes.

This offer is available for bookings made until August 31, with travel permitted up to September 30. The timing aligns with the Umrah season, encouraging more pilgrims to undertake the journey.

Additionally, PIA has launched direct Umrah flights from Quetta and Faisalabad to Jeddah, commencing on August 6. This expansion aims to provide more convenient options for pilgrims across Pakistan.

Discounted Flights from Canada

For passengers traveling from Canada to Pakistan, PIA is offering a 10% discount on all flights.

This promotion is valid for bookings made until February 9, 2025, with travel dates ranging from February 9 to May 20, 2025.

Previously, PIA had also announced a 14% discount on flights from Toronto to Pakistan in celebration of Pakistan's Independence Day, applicable to bookings made between August 1 and 14.

• Senior Citizen Discount: 10% discount for passengers aged 65 and above on international sectors (excluding lowest fare classes).
